The M1A2 SEP ABRAMS TUSK II main battle tank is an upgraded version of the M1A2 main battle tank developed by the U.S. Army for urban combat. Its Tank Urban Survival Kit (TUSK) features are specifically designed for urban warfare, including reactive armor spread across the body and bulletproof glass around the crew hatches. These features provide effective protection for the relatively vulnerable side armor and crew members who might be exposed outside the vehicle.
