Description
The Mr. Super Metallic 2 series utilizes premium fine metal particles to achieve an excellent metallic finish. This series has upgraded from the previous "Super Metallic" range, featuring improved materials that enhance the metallic effect.
Key Features:
- Base Materials: The base material is the same as that used in Mr. Color, so it is recommended to use Mr. Color Thinner, Mr. Rapid Thinner, or Mr. Leveling Thinner for dilution and cleaning.
- Airbrush Painting: For airbrushing, dilute the paint in a ratio of paint 1 to thinner 0 or 1-2, depending on the viscosity and type of paint. Some metallic colors with lower viscosity can be used as is.
- Stirring Requirements: Fine metal particles tend to settle quickly at the bottom. After dilution, it is crucial to stir the paint occasionally during airbrush painting to ensure a smooth, even finish.
Special Coating Instructions:
- Compatible Clear Coats: SM201-205, 207, 209 can be coated with Mr. Super Clear, Mr. Super Clear UV Cut, or Water-Based Top Coat (if using a can spray).
- Specific Coatings for Certain Colors: SM206 and SM208 can only be used with Water-Based Top Coat, which might slightly cloud the finish. Using other types of clear coats may dull the finish immediately.
- Do a test paint before you apply paint on your model kit.
