Why "Double Star"?
The name "Double Star" is inspired by astronomy. A double star, or binary star, is a system of two stars gravitationally bound and orbiting around each other. The concept resonates with the experience of two players engaging in a miniature war game revolving around the table, bonded by their shared passion for the hobby.
Our Unique Store Sign
Our store sign was designed by an AI (Stable Diffusion) after providing it with information about our store concept. The initial sketch features a floating castle under six stars. While the AI may not know how to count, the design is unique, and besides using an AI-generated design as a store sign is pretty cool.
Our Journey
Double Star Games and Hobbies was established in late March 2023 by a father and son duo, both hobbyists who wanted to share their love for the world of miniatures, model kits, and painting.

We have an extensive collection of model kits from renowned brands such as Meng, Ryefield, Hasegawa, Takom, and Bandai's Gundam line. For those interested in figure painting, we offer 75mm scale figure kits from brands like Scale 75, Kimera, Mindwork studio, Aradia Miniatures and much more.
