Canada Post Operations Update: Resuming Services
Canada Post will restart operations on Tuesday, December 17, focusing on safely ramping up their network. Here’s what to expect:

  • December 17-18: Canada Post will work through mail and parcels already in the system since the strike began. New mail and parcels will not be accepted during these first 48 hours.
  • December 19: New mail and parcel pickups will begin, but processing delays are expected. On-demand pickups resume December 23.
  • Delivery Delays: Customers should expect ongoing delays through the remainder of 2024 and into January 2025.

The Canadian Union of Postal Workers (CUPW) has announced it intends to begin a national strike on Friday, November 15 at 12:01 a.m. ET.

Canada Post Operations:
During a national strike, Canada Post’s operations will be shut down:

  • No Processing or Delivery: Mail and parcels will not be processed or delivered during the strike.
  • Post Office Closures: Some post offices may be closed.
  • Service Guarantees Impacted: Delivery guarantees will be affected for items already in transit. No new items will be accepted until the strike is over.

Shipping Adjustments

To minimize disruptions, we have temporarily changed our shipping options:

  1. Default Shipping Method:
    All orders will be shipped via UPS or other available couriers, including FedEx, ICS Courier, Canpar, Purolator, etc.

    *Important Note:*
    For rural or remote locations where Canada Post is the only reliable shipping option, we will notify you via email to discuss alternatives. If no suitable option is available, we may need to cancel the order and issue a full refund.

    We appreciate your understanding as we work to provide the best service possible.

  2. Canada Post Shipping:
    If you still prefer Canada Post, please let us know. we will hold the package until the strike ends.

  3. PO Box Addresses:
    Since Canada Post will not be accepting new items, we cannot ship to PO Boxes during the strike. If your address is a PO Box, please provide a non-PO Box address, or we will hold the package until the strike ends.

  4. Unfortunately, due to the ongoing Canada Post strike, we’re currently unable to ship to International destinations.
