Description
Chipping and paint spreading are both easy! So fun, you won’t want to stop dabbing!
- Brushwork Pro Chipping S features a thick, short brush tip designed specifically for dabbing paint with the tip.
- The brush has been adjusted with the right stiffness to paint clean dots, from small spots to larger dots.
- By dabbing paint onto the surface with the tip, you can easily create chipping effects.
- Brushwork Pro Chipping S comes in two sizes, S and M, with different thicknesses and lengths.
- The S size has a brush width of 2mm and a length of 3mm. It is an innovative brush that can be used widely for both dot painting and spreading paint.
● A brush packed with dedication to model brush painting!
Brushwork Pro Chipping S is a delicate brush made with individual synthetic bristles crafted by Japanese brush artisans specializing in artificial fibers.
Unlike ordinary synthetic brushes, the bristles are designed to resist fraying and breaking, helping maintain a fresh, new-brush feel for longer.
- Bristles are made from Japanese-made synthetic PBT fibers with carefully adjusted firmness.
- Each brush is handmade one by one by Japanese brush artisans specializing in synthetic bristles.
- Animal-hair brushes can become damaged, frayed, or brittle when soaked in solvents, but Brushwork Pro Chipping S uses solvent-resistant PBT fibers for better durability.
- The adhesive holding the brush tip is also solvent-resistant, helping maintain a good brush point for a long time.
- The brush firmness is adjusted for model painting, making the tip more flexible than standard synthetic brushes.
- The brush tip shape is designed for chipping, dabbing, dot painting, and spreading paint.
- If the brush tip is too short, it holds less paint and may dry out quickly.
- Brushwork Pro Chipping S is designed with a brush length that balances ease of painting and paint-holding capacity.
- Thanks to specially processed PBT fibers, even bristles bent near the base can be restored to a straight shape with hot water over 90°C.
- Includes a dedicated aluminum cap for convenient storage and transport.
● How to Fix Bent Bristles Near the Base
Before placing the brush in hot water, remove any dirt from the brush.
Hot water over 90°C is used, so be careful not to burn yourself.
- Pour hot water over 90°C into a heat-resistant container and soak the bent brush tip for about 10 seconds.
- Use the wall of the container to straighten the bent section of the bristles.
- Pull the brush upward along the wall while keeping the bristles straight.
- Check that the bristles near the base are straight, then let the brush dry.
If the bristles have reached the end of their lifespan, they may not return to shape.
If the water cools during the process, the repair may not work properly.
