Description
Short handle for intuitive grip changes! Strong bristles help the tip stay on target, making it easy to paint exactly where you want.
- The short handle gives it excellent handling and control.
- You can naturally choose the grip that feels easiest to use at the moment, making brush painting more enjoyable.
- The fine brush tip helps the paint spread smoothly, making it useful for clean, precise color separation.
● A very short-handle series compared to the standard Brushwork brushes
Because the handle is short, the center of gravity is closer to your hand, making it less prone to wobbling and much easier to handle. You can intuitively choose the grip that feels best, making brush painting more comfortable and enjoyable.
- Bristles are made from Japanese-made synthetic PBT fibers with carefully adjusted firmness.
- Each brush is handmade one by one by Japanese brush artisans specializing in synthetic bristles.
- Animal-hair brushes can become damaged, frayed, or brittle when soaked in solvents, but Kamifude uses solvent-resistant PBT fibers for better durability.
- The adhesive holding the brush tip is also solvent-resistant, helping maintain a good brush point for a long time.
- The brush firmness is adjusted for model painting, making the tip more flexible than standard synthetic brushes.
- A variety of brush tip shapes are available for different painting situations.
- If the brush tip is too short, it holds less paint and may dry out quickly. Brushwork is designed with a brush length that balances ease of painting and paint-holding capacity.
- Thanks to specially processed PBT fibers, even bristles bent near the base can be restored to a straight shape with hot water over 90°C.
● How to Fix Bent Bristles Near the Base
Before placing the brush in hot water, remove any dirt from the brush.
Hot water over 90°C is used, so be careful not to burn yourself.
- Pour hot water over 90°C into a heat-resistant container and soak the bent brush tip for about 10 seconds.
- Use the wall of the container to straighten the bent section of the bristles.
- Pull the brush upward along the wall while keeping the bristles straight.
- Check that the bristles near the base are straight, then let the brush dry.
If the bristles have reached the end of their lifespan, they may not return to shape.
If the water cools during the process, the repair may not work properly.
