Description
The Jaguar is the first tactical support fighter co-developed by the United Kingdom and France in 1965. A total of five types, both single-seat and twin-seat, were developed.
Among these, the British Air Force's GR Mk.1 is equipped with an advanced navigation/attack system, boasting a digital computer and a laser range-finding target detection system, making supersonic low-altitude penetration feasible. The French Air Force's "A" model, starting from the 80th aircraft onward, has had its capabilities enhanced with the addition of a laser rangefinder in the nose.
