A kit of the aircraft carrier Akagi at a 1/350 scale. Once assembled, it reaches a length of 745mm, making it a large volume kit. During the development of this kit, new facts were discovered! The shape of the storage hangar's rear end, the size and shape of the ship's keel bottom, and the shape of the side armor plate fairing have been designed based on new materials. Please check the accurate shape while assembling. The high-angle guns, secondary guns, collapsible antenna mast, and rudder are movable. The elevators can be chosen in either a raised position or one level lower. The searchlights are separate parts and can be chosen in either a deployed or stored position on the flight deck. The aircraft are molded in clear plastic and include Zero Fighter Type 21 x3, Type 99 Carrier Bomber Model 11 x3, and Type 97 Torpedo Bomber Model 3 x6. The girder parts under the flight deck are separate, allowing for precise representation with plastic parts. The branching part at the base of the smokestack, the intricate build of the bridge, and so on... all have a high-density representation due to detailed engraving.
