Description
Designed as a pure painting study, this resin bust captures a disciplined medieval knight encased in full plate armour, with broad steel surfaces ideal for exploring subtle light and reflection. The helmet, bevor and rounded breastplate, giving historical flavour without tying the piece to a single named commander. Deep folds in the fur lined mantle and the small splash of rich cloth over the shoulder add contrasting textures that help frame the cool armour tones on the chest and pauldron.
Large uninterrupted planes on the cuirass and helmet make this medieval knight bust perfect for practising non metallic metal techniques in steel, from soft daylight reflections to stronger studio style highlights. The sculpt leaves enough space around the face to experiment with different visors, weathering and battle damage. A neutral plinth friendly cut under the shoulders means the bust can drop straight onto your favourite pedestal without heavy conversion work.
