The Leopard 2 is the German Army's main tank, adopted in 1977 as the successor to the Leopard 1.
The Leopard 2A7V is the latest model in the Leopard 2 series, with the first vehicles being handed over to the German Bundeswehr from 2019 and unit deployment in 2021.
